A service level agreement is a service provider’s public commitment to deliver a service according to its description and verbal quality assurance.
The Maritime MaaS API, i.e. the interface, has been created so that water transport providers and parties interested in selling retail water transport tickets can negotiate commercial partnerships and innovate new business opportunities around water transport using the ticket sales interface.
The Maritime MaaS interface provides transport data from transport operators in GTFS format and offers an opportunity to sell retail ticket products to those who have integrated with the interface.
Our interface will not disclose payment transaction data or identifying data about the end users.
The performance of the interface is automatically monitored and, therefore, if the interface is ever down, the information is quickly passed on to those responsible for its technical maintenance and, following that, to operators integrated with the interface, in accordance with the agreed communications process.
Integrated operators are also notified of any anticipated outages connected to the development of the interface, according to the communications process.
The interface administrator will not be responsible for any direct or indirect costs to users caused by outages (see Terms of Use ).
The interface administrator will not be responsible for the impact of any vandalism against the interface or its wilfully erroneous use that harms others.

The implementation and further development of the interface have the following goals:

technical solutions that are based on real-life case examples and meet the needs of as many users as possible, instead of user-specific solutions.
The purpose of the Maritime MaaS interface is to facilitate the development of new business operations and innovation to transport providers, MaaS operators and other parties interested in business partnerships and selling retail tickets to scheduled water transport. The interface’s user groups include:
water transport providers
parties interested in the retail sales of water transport ticket products
MaaS operators
service providers that deal in end-to-end travel services and service packages that include water transport.
The Maritime MaaS interface’s service level agreement includes:
Reliability, i.e. the interface’s technical maintenance guarantees that operators utilising the interface can trust it to be a functional part of their business operations.
Up-to-date instructions, i.e. the description of the interface’s implementation is kept up to date.
Up-to-date technical documentation, i.e. the interface’s technical documentation matches the latest production version at all times.
Implementation support, i.e. operators integrating with the interface can access implementation support, although actual technical support is not provided for the interface.
Version control, i.e. the interface’s development work uses a specific technical versioning mechanism, which has a description and is adhered to.
Coordinating further development, i.e. a process has been determined for the interface’s further development, the process has a description and it is adhered to.
The contents regarding further development will be amended until the 2022 season.
